Water scarcity has long been a challenge for Kilimahewa Modern Secondary School, with frequent disruptions from the local utility company and a damaged well threatening the school’s ability to maintain a safe and nurturing learning environment. In response, Custom Pipe & Fabrication stepped in to help bring this precious resource back to the school and the surrounding community.

Bringing Water to Kilimahewa
The project began with a detailed survey of the land and the securing of necessary permits, laying the groundwork for a successful operation. The team then drilled deep into the earth to tap into a reliable water source, using durable uPVC components to ensure the longevity of the borehole. The borehole was carefully cleaned, sealed, and tested, optimizing flow and ensuring that the water remains free of contamination.
The final phase involved the installation of a submersible pump and motor, followed by the setup of a water tank to store and distribute water throughout the school. With these systems in place, Kilimahewa Modern Secondary School now has a reliable and sustainable water supply, ensuring that students can focus on their education without the disruption caused by water shortages.
